NEW YORK & SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kardashian. Sheen. Snooki. Pippa. Their names (and many more) have been splashed across the headlines throughout the year, but which celebrity made people say “omg!” the loudest? PARADE and omg! on Yahoo! (http://omg.yahoo.com), the No. 1 entertainment news site, teamed up to poll Americans and learn what they really think about pop culture, entertainment, celebrities, and more. The surprising findings include:
Most Annoying Celebrity
Everywhere you look, there seems to be a Kardashian. Famous for being famous, Kim in particular has been inescapable, with her recent wedding and honeymoon reported on just about everywhere. Perhaps all that exposure is why she earned the title of Most Annoying Celebrity in our poll, with 29% of the vote.
Crazy Baby Names
This year’s crop of Hollywood newborns were saddled with some crazy names—but which was the craziest? Not to be outdone was Mariah Carey. Her twins with Nick Cannon—Moroccan and Monroe—got the bulk of the vote (55%).

Millions of mouths were agape when Casey Anthony’s not-guilty verdict was revealed in July, making it the biggest OMG! headline in the first half of 2011, with 62% of the vote. Men behaving badly finished second and third, with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love-child scandal getting 30% of the vote and former New York congressman Anthony Weiner’s Twitter scandal getting 5%.
