SpecialtyCare Expands with Addition of Active Diagnostics, Inc.

Leading Provider Expands Neuromonitoring

NASHVILLE, Tenn. & FAIR OAKS, Calif.--()--Nashville-based SpecialtyCare, the nation’s leading provider of clinical services to hospitals, together with Active Diagnostics, Inc. Active Diagnostics’ neurological monitoring service, which helps surgeons protect patients by monitoring nervous system function during surgery, serves 35 hospitals in Northern California and Nevada. Like SpecialtyCare, Active Diagnostics neurophysiologists serve in the operating room as part of the surgical team. “SpecialtyCare is a growing company that has put the right infrastructure in place to be successful in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. SpecialtyCare, like Active Diagnostics, is focused on quality and offering value to our customers,” said Mike Russell, Founder of ADI. “We believe that this combination is in the interest of our customers and clinical staff, who will benefit from the stability of a well-capitalized, well-run organization. One of the most important criteria for choosing a successor to ADI was how it treated employees and its commitment to quality. We believe that we have found the right partner.”
