Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Awards Two Medicaid Contracts to HMS

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HMS (NASDAQ:HMSY), a wholly owned subsidiary of HMS Holdings Corp., announced today that it has been awarded two contracts by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) to provide review and recovery services for the Commonwealth’s Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program.

Under the first contract, HMS will provide third party liability data exchange and recovery services, including data match, cost avoidance, and recovery billings. HMS will also provide financial overpayment reviews and recovery services under a subcontract.

These contracts run for four years, with the option to renew for two additional two-year periods.
