The Thrilling Sequel to White Knight Chronicles: International Edition

LOS ANGELES--()--D3Publisher (D3P), a publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, today announced White Knight Chronicles II is now available in North America on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. White Knight Chronicles II is the sequel to White Knight Chronicles: International Edition, and seamlessly blends the entertaining and interactive multiplayer co-op role-playing game (RPG) experience with the cinematic storytelling of a single player RPG.

White Knight Chronicles II offers an enhanced battle system, impressive graphics that showcase stunning environments, and in-depth character customization, while continuing the riveting story of the White Knight,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of development, D3P. “As a bonus feature, this incredible package contains the remastered White Knight Chronicles: International Edition for those who have yet to explore the original story.”

Developed by acclaimed Japanese studio LEVEL-5 Inc., White Knight Chronicles II takes players back to the magic-infused kingdom of fantasy, swordplay and myth. Players will follow valiant voyager Leonard on a brand new journey set one year after the first game. Players will master a dynamic combat system that allows them to plan their own strategies and attacks. Along with over 40 hours of online questing, the adventure can last for more than 100 hours!

White Knight Chronicles II features spectacular graphics and enhanced, fan-requested features. Players can now create an Incorruptus (a unique knight) for their own avatar and use it online for the first time. The Incorruptus customization system has been upgraded, making the character creation and strategy more diverse. The battle pace is also dramatically faster and makes combat against terrifying monsters more tactical and interactive. The game will also offer bounty hunting, errands and Georama features.

The game offers quests with up to six players online (the original permitted four) and they can play with those in North America and Europe. Players can take on co-op quests or free-roam together, create their own town and meet new friends. They will also experience an RPG game that incorporates a variety of robust online gameplay elements with many quests utilizing an active turn-based battle system that caters to players of all levels.

White Knight Chronicles II is developed by acclaimed Japanese studio LEVEL-5 Inc. and is rated “T” (Teen – Violence, Suggestive Themes, Partial Nudity, Mild Language, Use of Alcohol) by the ESRB.
