PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Temperature-controlled warehouses are about to become much more energy efficient. Cascade Energy, Inc. (www.cascadeenergy.com) and Americold (www.americold.com) today announced a three-year strategic partnership focused on reducing energy use and related costs in Americold’s cold storage facilities. As part of this partnership, Cascade will provide energy management services for 132 Americold refrigerated warehouses in the United States.

For select warehouses owned and operated by Americold, Cascade will provide monitoring, utility bill analysis, reporting and web-based dashboard applications. Americold also has the option to tap additional Cascade services, such as facility tune-ups, system optimization, capital studies, and coordination with local utility companies to maximize incentive programs.
