SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkeley Design Automation, Inc., provider of the world’s fastest nanometer circuit verification, today announced that Mr. Mike Ellow has joined the company as vice president of worldwide sales, effective September 1, 2011. An accomplished EDA sales executive, he will lead the company’s worldwide sales organization to extend its nanometer circuit verification leadership.
With over 20 years of executive sales and technical management experience, Ellow has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. Most recently he served as corporate vice president sales at Cadence Design Systems where he was responsible for managing the entire North American field team. Ellow was at Cadence for 13 years, quickly rising through sales management from his initial position as global account director in 1997. Prior to Cadence, he held management and engineering positions in several industries. Ellow has a BSEE from Lehigh University, an MSEE from University of Southern California, and an MBA from California State University – Fullerton.
