LONGMONT, Colo.--()--UQM Technologies, Inc. (NYSE Amex: UQM) Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Donald A. French, will present at the Wedbush Clean Technology & Industrial Growth Conference at the Westin San Francisco Market Street Hotel on September 14, 2011 at 8:35 a.m. Pacific Time.

UQM was recently awarded a $3 million grant from the U. S. Department of Energy that leverages the company’s extensive experience in electric propulsion technology to explore the development of non-rare-earth magnet motor technology. The impact of such technology could lead to a broadening of UQM’s product portfolio with products that have higher performance at lower cost.

The Wedbush Clean Technology & Industrial Growth Conference brings together institutional clients with management executives from leading global companies within the clean technology and industrial sectors.
