QVC Selects Globecomm to Broadcast Full Time Programming to its U.S. Affiliate Distribution Markets

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading global provider of communications solutions and services, announced today the delivery of program content for QVC, Inc. to cable and satellite operators and other affiliate distribution markets throughout the United States.

Services will include programming across two digital channels, Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD), as well as an analog channel. In addition to broadcast delivery services, Globecomm will provide redundant and diverse transport from QVC headquarters in Pennsylvania to the Globecomm New York facility, backup playout services, and a backup fiber and teleport disaster recovery solution.
