ESCONDIDO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Echo Pacific Construction is proud to announce they have been selected to build the Vista Del Mar Elementary School by the San Ysidro School District Board of Trustees. Construction will commence on August 15th, and will be delivered via a Lease-Lease Back contract with a GMP. This will be the first project built for the District by Echo Pacific using this negotiated process.
Vista Del Mar Elementary School is planned for the Ocean View Hills Community located adjacent to a future park site near the current Ocean View Hills School. The new school will house 850 K-6 students in technology enhanced classrooms. The project will be funded from General Obligation Bond Proceeds and Certificates of Participation Proceeds paid from Mello-Roos taxes.
To provide and ensure increased value in the project, Echo Pacific will use an accelerated construction process. This process, which Echo Pacific has embraced for years, is becoming more recognized due to today’s increasingly time and cost-sensitive business environment.
