NextGate Launches MatchMetrix Multi-Language for Low TCO Localized Exchange of Health Information

ARCADIA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NextGate today announced the release of MatchMetrix Multi-Language EMPI and MatchMetrix Multi-Language Provider Registry, to enable localized and internationalized patient centric view and interoperable health information exchange solutions worldwide.

Region specific logic and rules are required to accurately match patient, provider, and related information in non-United States-English languages and/or non-US locales. The algorithms that analyze, standardize, compare, and probabilistically match fields between disparate records must natively accommodate different languages, phonetics, nicknames, phone and address formats, and double-byte character sets. Further, the stewardship interface to manage and administer the EMPI or registry must present a localized view with meaningful labels and field elements.

MatchMetrix Multi-Language was built for the express purpose of managing data in non-US-English languages and from non-US locales. The solution is customized to the region and supports locale and language specific data analysis, field cleansing, standardization, and probabilistic match engine configuration. Now, any Anglicized or double-byte language can undergo the rigorous data quality evaluation and matching, that NextGate is known for. The Data Quality Manager and other GUIs have also been localized so data stewardship may be performed in the native language rather than through US English GUIs.

MatchMetrix Multi-Language ships with support for the following languages and locales: English/Australia, English/UK, French/France, and Spanish/Spain. Future releases will add more languages/locales.
