AUDUBON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Globus Medical, Inc., the largest privately held spinal implant manufacturer in the world, today announced it has appointed Ann D. Rhoads to serve as a member of the Company’s Board.

Ms. Rhoads currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary for Zogenix, Inc (NASDAQ:ZGNX), a pharmaceutical company commercializing and developing products for the treatment of central nervous system disorders and pain. Previously, Ms. Rhoads was with Premier, Inc., a healthcare service company, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. At Premier her responsibilities included all areas of financial management, strategic planning, business development, information technology, ethics, and compliance. Prior to joining Premier, Ms. Rhoads held various positions at Sprout Group, a venture capital affiliate of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Bain & Company, and Merrill Lynch Capital Partners.
Ms. Rhoads received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. Ms. Rhoads is a member of the board of directors of Novellus Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVLS).
