EdgeCast Reports Continued Customer & Traffic Growth

Content delivery network now carrying 4% of global internet traffic & serving more than 3,000 customers

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EdgeCast Networks, the world’s fastest and most reliable content delivery network (CDN), today announced the continued dramatic growth of its customer base and network. Just six months after announcing its 2,000th customer, the company is now powering more than 3,000 customers.

The EdgeCast network now serves more than 1.5 billion objects per hour on behalf of its customers and carries approximately 4% of all worldwide internet traffic.
