GestureTek To Focus on Digital Signage and Public Display Business After Sale of Selected Technology Assets to Qualcomm

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GestureTek, Inc. today announced the sale of certain technology assets to Qualcomm Incorporated. The acquisition will give Qualcomm ownership of certain intellectual property assets related to gesture recognition.

With more than 25 years of experience implementing gesture-based technologies in mobile devices, entertainment facilities, museums, retail locations and other public and private venues, GestureTek will retain selected technology assets and will now focus on its gesture-controlled public display/digital signage and health businesses.
