Peter C. Kuo Joins Lazard to Head Asian Equity Capital Markets Advisory

Firm Continues Investment in China’s Economic Growth

HONG KONG & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lazard Ltd (NYSE:LAZ) announced today that Peter C. Kuo has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets Advisory in Asia, effective immediately. Based in Hong Kong, Mr. Kuo most recently served as a Managing Director of Cowen and Company.

Mr. Kuo was formerly a Managing Director of the wholly-owned Asia subsidiary of Cowen and Company, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of its capital raising transactions for Chinese companies. He began his career at Davis Polk & Wardwell in 1998. A Fulbright Scholar in Taipei, Mr. Kuo received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
