Ending months of speculation about the name of its new consumer technology site headed by Joshua Topolsky along with a roster of the industry’s leading writers and editors, SB Nation today announced that The Verge would launch early this Fall, and that out of the gate, the site would be powered by BMW of North America. News that SB Nation and Topolsky would operate the highly anticipated site under the name The Verge (www.theverge.com) first emerged early this morning when Topolsky made his 10th appearance as resident tech expert on NBC’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
The Verge will be an authoritative and comprehensive source of news, reviews, journalistic features and product information covering the world of consumer technology.
