GOTO Metrics Closes $3 Million Funding Round from Investors, Renames Company Zettaset

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GOTO Metrics today announced that it has closed a $3 million funding round – co-led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ) and EPIC Ventures – and the re-launch of the company under the name Zettaset. The company enables massive data analytics for the enterprise via Hadoop, the open-source platform that provides reliable, scalable, distributed computing.

The company’s new name, Zettaset, reflects the massive, data-intensive activity that characterizes the current and emerging business environment. A zettabyte consists of more than a million petabytes.
