Verint Joins Russell 3000 Index

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verint^® Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) today announced that it joined the list of companies on the U.S. broad-market Russell 3000^® Index as of June 24, when Russell Investments reconstituted its set of U.S. and global equity indexes.

Each year, Russell reconstitutes its U.S. indexes by capturing and ranking the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks by total market capitalization as of the end of May. Russell determines membership for its equity indexes primarily by objective, market capitalization rankings and style attributes.

The Russell 3000 serves as the U.S. component to the Russell Global Index. Verint’s membership in the Russell 3000 remains in place for one year and provides the company with automatic inclusion in the small-cap Russell 2000^® Index.
