ST. LOUIS--()--International Fuel Technology, Inc. (IFT) (OTCBB: IFUE) announced that PerfoLiFTTM BD-4 received the “No Harm & Relative Efficiency” certification from the AGQM under its renowned “No-Harm and Efficiency” program. PerfoLiFTTM BD-4 is another of the PerfoLiFTTM BD-Series formulations to receive this coveted certification.
“With both PerfoLiFTTM BD-3 and PerfoLiFTTM BD-4 now being certified under the coveted “No Harm”
The PerfoLiFTTM BD-Series is a group of scientifically engineered liquid fuel additive formulations specifically designed to provide superior oxidation stability, long term storage stability, and deposit formation control to bio-diesel and bio-diesel fuel blends.
The Association for the Quality of Bio-diesel, or AGQM (its German acronym), is an independent German-based organization formed in 1999 to monitor the quality of bio-diesel. Though not an official international specification, the AGQM’s “No Harm and Relative Efficiency” certification has become the de facto standard of reference for the qualification of stabilizers meeting the demanding requirements of the bio-diesel industry. A large and increasing number of bio-diesel producing countries now require the AGQM “No Harm” certification for products entering their bio-diesel oxidation stabilizer markets.
“With both PerfoLiFTTM BD-3 and PerfoLiFTTM BD-4 now being certified under the coveted “No Harm” program from the AGQM, it is clear signal that our PerfoLiFTTM BD-Series of additives is well positioned to capitalize on the growing consumption of bio-diesel worldwide and a strong message to the industry regarding the efficacy of our technology,” said Axel Farhi, IFT’s Director of Global Business Development. “The PerfoLiFTTM BD-Series can be tailor made to address stability issues associated with bio-diesel source materials of any kind. We believe we have one of the top performing, if not the top performing, series of fuel additive formulations for providing superior oxidation stability, long term storage stability, and deposit formation control to bio-diesel and bio-diesel fuel blends.”
About International Fuel Technology, Inc.
IFT is a fuel performance enhancement company focused on providing its technology to large, industrial consumers of diesel fuel and bio-diesel fuel blends in the rail, stationary power generation and road transport industries.
IFT has two primary product lines, DiesoLiFTTM 10 and the PerfoLiFTTM BD-Series.
DiesoLiFTTM 10 is IFT’s proprietary surfactant-based fuel additive formulation for use with diesel fuel and bio-diesel fuel blends. The product has been scientifically proven to provide a significant improvement in fuel economy and a reduction in harmful emissions. In addition, DiesoLiFTTM 10 increases fuel lubricity, provides detergency benefits and co-solves normal amounts of free water, which collectively reduce maintenance costs for the end user. The product is easy to use, only splash blending is needed, and its use has been proven to have no effect on fuel composition, make-up or standard specification.
The PerfoLiFTTM BD-Series is a series of fuel additive formulations specifically developed to provide superior oxidation stability and deposit formation control to bio-diesel and bio-diesel fuel blends.
