DALLAS--()--Associa, the nation’s leading community association management firm, is pleased to announce the launch of Associa Community Watch, the company’s latest value-add service for community associations.
“Nearly 4 million people live in Associa-managed communities and our first priority is their safety and well-being”
Associa Community Watch is designed as a safeguard for communities and their residents and will feature eco-friendly, state-of-the-art, highly visible service vehicles ready to provide routine common area inspections, event oversight, covenant review for communities, speed enforcement and neighborhood announcements.
“Nearly 4 million people live in Associa-managed communities and our first priority is their safety and well-being,” said Associa CEO John Carona. “With the Associa Community Watch vehicles on the streets of our communities, homeowners will have the peace of mind that Associa and our member companies are on the job providing a positive presence in each neighborhood.”
The Community Watch vehicles will be outfitted with the latest in mobile and wireless technologies to update community and resident records on site. Additionally, each vehicle will be equipped with real-time, secure access to association records and other vital community information that can be generated on demand to maximize efficiency.
The service can also offer specially designed radar units which will help maintain road/traffic safety within a neighborhood. The units can track speeds, take supporting pictures and issue violation letters on behalf of the association. In addition, the vehicles come equipped with a highly-visible message board, which can be used to display information such as association meetings, community events, maintenance updates and more. As a commitment to energy efficiency, the vehicles and additional service equipment are partially powered by solar energy.
Another feature that can be offered is the “good neighbor” program, available for individual owner needs, designed to help those residents in need of assistance. Community Watch vehicles will come equipped with a variety of elements available to help stranded motorists. The drivers will also look out for those four-legged members of an association and have leashes available to help pets in distress.
Associa Community Watch will feature a full menu of services to assist communities and homeowners with their specific needs. The programs are designed to be available both day and night and on call for association patrols, after hours lighting and facility audits, and monitoring of both clubhouse and pool closings.
Community members also have options to arrange for bonded and specially-trained professionals to check in on elderly relatives or other home bound residents, or even run a quick neighborhood errand. Additionally, service features can be added to allow for the vehicles to keep an eye on the home of a vacationing family and report any suspicious activity. Community Watch can also oversee vacant homes.
