IRVINE, Calif.--()--Local.com Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading online local media company, today announced the appointment of two new members to the company’s management team.

Rob Luskey, formerly Local.com’s senior director, business development, has been named as the company’s new vice president, business development. In his new role, Luskey will be responsible for leading business development efforts across the company’s various businesses.
Steven Dong joins the company from recently acquired Rovion, and has been appointed vice president of finance. Dong will be responsible for managing the company’s fiscal and accounting initiatives, in addition to managing financial initiatives related to the company’s planned corporate development and acquisition activities.

Luskey has more than 15 years of experience in the online and local media advertising industries and most recently served as Local.com’s senior director, business development. Prior to Local.com, Luskey served as director of Internet strategy for United Yellow Pages where he was responsible for setting the company’s online strategy and spearheading its business development partnerships with companies like America Online, Switchboard.com and Infospace. Previously, Luskey served as director of business development for Go2 Systems, a leading mobile local directory company. Luskey also owned and operated his own local media publishing company, which catered to the small business advertiser. Luskey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Seattle University.
Dong has more than 20 years of senior financial experience with public and private companies, and most recently served as chief financial officer for DigitalPost Interactive, an online digital media company and parent company of the recently acquired Rovion business. Prior to DigitalPost Interactive, Dong owned his own professional services firm. Previously, Dong served as chief financial officer of Taitron Components, Inc., a publicly-held semiconductor company. Dong also served as a financial consultant assisting publicly held companies and served at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. Dong is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive SEC experience and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California State Board of Accountancy. Dong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Babson College.
