TORRANCE, Calif.--()--Vector Resources, Inc., a leading systems integrator offering network consulting services and unified network solutions, announced today that TE Connectivity (TE), which produces more than 500,000 electronic components, network products and undersea telecommunications components, has again recognized Vector as the NETCONNECT Design and Implementation (ND&I) “company of the year.”
“Our manufacturing partners play a critical role in this ecosystem, and TE’s superior products and partner programs have contributed greatly to our company’s overall growth.”
Vector was the largest reseller of TE’s AMP NETCONNECT products in North America based on annual sales volume for the period just concluded, a distinction Vector has earned multiple times over the past decade. TE was formerly known as Tyco Electronics.
“Vector network experts design and implement the highest-quality solutions and provide the highest-level of service for our customers,” said Robert Messinger, Vector’s executive vice president and co-founder. “Our manufacturing partners play a critical role in this ecosystem, and TE’s superior products and partner programs have contributed greatly to our company’s overall growth.”
TE offers a wide range of network products included in the design and implementation of communication systems and energy networks. Vector and TE work most closely on projects in the education, medical and federal government markets. Each of these markets is undergoing a significant transformation as information is moving from paper-based to electronic standards. In education, teaching and testing increasingly requires large numbers of PCs in the classroom and WiFi networks are becoming the norm. In healthcare, medical records will soon be completely transitioned to digital as mandated in recent healthcare legislation. Finally, federal, state and local government agencies are streamlining operations by upgrading networks and systems.
“Vector has been among our top-10 resellers for the past 10 years, and both companies have grown successfully over the past decade, demonstrating our respective abilities to provide outstanding solutions,” said Matthew Hagemann, senior manager, global channel marketing for TE. “As market trends continue to point to the need for faster, higher-performance networks, both Vector and TE are well positioned for future growth.”
