Exari Awarded US Patent for Its Document Assembly System

Exari is the only Document Assembly Solution that Can Process ALL XML Standards

BOSTON--()--Exari has been awarded a new US patent protecting their core document assembly technology that can generate output documents based on any type of XML (eXtensible Markup Language) source document. This technology allows Exari to automatically assemble contracts, master agreements and other documentation, ensuring that the integrity and validity of the XML is maintained throughout the document assembly process. All output documents and the data contained within those documents will also be valid.

“Exari clients in the insurance, financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications and legal sectors often need to adhere to industry specific XML standards,” said Justin Lipton, Exari CTO. “By using XML that is valid against a specific standard, our clients can confidently exchange information and gain deep visibility into their transactions. An investment bank, for example, may utilize FpML (Financial products Markup Language) standards; an insurance company may use ACORD standards. Exari's patented technology allows us to provide solutions that are capable of supporting any of these industry specific standards.”

In 2001, Exari's founders saw the potential for XML to deliver a more powerful, controlled approach to authoring “smart” templates as native XML documents and released the world's first online document assembly system, built on Java and XML. Continuing its tradition of leadership and innovation in the field of document assembly for more than a decade, Exari has been awarded patents in both the US and the UK.

Exari’s technology allows users to create smart contract templates as native XML documents, and then deliver tailored documents in Word, PDF, HTML or the same ‘standard-specific’ XML format. This advances Exari’s commitment to evolve a new era of documentation and contract transparency, providing unparalleled visibility into all data elements contained with a document AND ensuring the integrity of the XML standard of choice.
