Exacq Technologies is pleased to announce the immediate availability of exacqVision Start. Start is the new lower cost version of the exacqVision video management system (VMS) software used for IP video security surveillance applications.

Start has all of the essential VMS features necessary for low-cost video surveillance including digital PTZ, graphical search results for recorded video, video expiration dating, pre and post alarm recording, multi-camera playback and the ability to easily export video to a DVD or flash drive for external investigations.

This new VMS software is currently available on pre-configured EL-Series IP Camera and Hybrid NVR appliances from Exacq Technologies. Up to 16 IP cameras and 16 Analog cameras can be installed to a single server. Start integrates with the industry’s leading IP cameras including analog and IP PTZ models, high-definition cameras, H.264 compression cameras, and thermal units.

Start uses the same graphical user interface found on the standard exacqVision VMS (now referred to as exacqVision Pro) with client software freely available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh computers. In addition, the free webserver allows users to operate the system using any web browser or the free exacq Mobile app available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Multiple users can connect simultaneously to a single server via the client, web browser or exacq Mobile app.
