Tessenderlo Kerley Inc. To Expand Its Burley Idaho Facility With the Addition of an Ammonium Thiosulfate Plant

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc., (TKI) announced today their intent to expand their facility located at Burley, Idaho with an adjacent ammonium thiosulfate manufacturing plant. The plant is expected to be on line within the next eighteen months.

“TKI will design and construct the new sulfur processing plant that will produce ammonium thiosulfate (Thio-Sul®) for TKI’s market in the PNW and northern California. This plant will add five additional positions upon completion.”

This new endeavor will address several recent short term market concerns in the ammonium thiosulfate sector and will allow us to address critical and costly logistical issues in markets in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) and northern California.”
