SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Azaleos® Corporation, the managed messaging, collaboration and unified communications services company, today announced the Azaleos ViewX CIO Dashboard, which provides a graphical enterprise view of the health and performance of private cloud-based unified communications (UC) systems. Available immediately, the ViewX CIO Dashboard allows busy IT executives to virtually “look over the shoulder” of Azaleos engineers and their in-house IT staff to stay abreast of any changes in status on Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Lync Servers. The Azaleos ViewX CIO Dashboard is a business tool for IT managers that presents key indicators in real-time.
Azaleos customer KRG Capital Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm with nearly $5 billion of capital either deployed or available for future investment, has been testing a pre-release version of the ViewX CIO Dashboard. According to Dustin Jackson, VP of Technology for KRG Capital: “Our Microsoft Exchange system and its associated infrastructure including Active Directory, attached storage, etc., are complex and tightly integrated, which can make it difficult to recognize conditions that can impact our business. The ViewX CIO Dashboard provides me with a clear up-to-the-minute view into the state of our Microsoft ecosystem, so I don’t have to react to problems reported by users.”
“Since customers have entrusted the heavy lifting of managing their UC environments to Azaleos, we created the ViewX CIO Dashboard to meet the requirements of IT executives who are focused on managing the business of IT, not the technology itself,” said Scott Gode, vice president of marketing and product management for Azaleos. “It aggregates and distills thousands of data points gathered by our patented ViewX monitoring technology and used by our network operations staff; into a single graphical view that maps the health status of UC systems and key performance indicators against best practices and service level agreement deliverables.”
Business View of UC
Unlike monolithic management frameworks and portals used by systems administrators, the ViewX CIO Dashboard provides a concise, graphical and real-time view of need-to-know metrics and status of UC applications. To achieve this same level of visibility, organizations would need to stitch together silos of data from multiple applications using expensive and complex systems management software. Some of the key performance indicators presented in the ViewX Dashboard include:
- Exchange Server: Active Users, Average Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Latency, Message Flow History
- BlackBerry Enterprise Server: Offline Users History, Messages Sent and Received
- Lync Server: IM, Conferencing and Phone Sessions, Total Endpoints, Certificate Expirations
- Active Directory: Site Map, Last Domain Controller Replication Time and Intervals
- SharePoint: Number of Applications and Sites, Sites per Database, Search Queries/Minute, Items Indexed per Day
Availability and Pricing
The Azaleos ViewX CIO Dashboard replaces the previous ViewX v2 portal and is available immediately to all existing and new Azaleos customers. It is included at no additional cost as part of every Azaleos monitoring and management agreement.
