Continuing its momentum of 2010, with significant product upgrades, strategic technology partnerships and wide industry recognition, Rapid7 increased new sales by more than 62 percent in Q1 2011 over Q1 2010.

Metasploit Pro™ 3.6 adds sophisticated new functionality to better manage, analyze and present penetration testing information, including asset tagging, PCI penetration testing reports that extend the native NeXpose® PCI reporting capability and project activity reports. This latest version also provides several improvements to the other commercial edition, Metasploit Express™ and the free, open source Metasploit® Framework.
NeXpose4.11 is the latest version of Rapid7’s flagship vulnerability management solution that offers enhanced performance and scalability, improved PCI compliance support and better risk assessment. With scanning capabilities up to 10 times faster, NeXpose provides support to enterprises as they require increased vulnerability assessment information. It also includes additional Web application scanning capabilities such as Adobe®Flash® decompilation and analysis, to discover more vulnerabilities and improve intelligence.

Technology Partnerships With a focus on developing key relationships within the industry, Rapid7 announced two important collaborations during Q1:

A technology collaboration with Rsam, the industry leader in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, enables organizations to proactively leverage faster security risk intelligence and prioritization from NeXpose to the Rsam GRC platform for smarter GRC-based decisions.
Rapid7 also partnered with TriGeo Network Security, a provider of security information and event management (SIEM) technology, offering organizations an integrated solution for faster, more effective risk prioritization to rapidly identify and respond to critical compliance violations, security breaches and insider threats.
