In this role, Dr. Belaval will work with Ximedica to improve healthcare delivery workflow re-design to reduce complexity and increase patient safety. He will also serve as clinical expert for its medical device product development efforts.
Dr. Belaval brings extensive clinical practice and hospital business consulting background to the role. With a specialty in emergency medicine, his consulting has focused on ER operations re-design and strategic implementation services to hospitals across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Latin America. His consulting accomplishments include major reductions in wait times and patients’ leaving unseen, significantly shortened times from arrival to discharge, increased patient satisfaction, and increased ER capacity unaccompanied by expansion. For one particular top 100 hospital, Dr. Belaval cut wait times in the ER from two hours to 19 minutes and reduced average length of stay from 400 to 205 minutes. His clinical positions include Chairman and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine and Chief and Medical Director. He is board certified and holds licenses in four states.
