THE TRAVELOCITY ROAMING GNOME VISITS SOUTH CAROLINA
Travelocity’s iconic Roaming Gnome® will tour South Carolina this week to take in top tourism sites and attractions, and you can follow his travels on his Facebook page and Twitter feed.
His visit is part of a joint social media promotion between the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism and Travelocity to help people discover why South Carolina is “Made for Vacation.”
The Roaming Gnome will visit sites in Anderson, Greenville and Spartanburg on Wednesday, April 6; Columbia and Fort Mill on Thursday, April 7; and Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet and Charleston on Friday, April 8.
The Roaming Gnome will be photographed at unique points of interests in these areas, such as Liberty Bridge and Falls Park in downtown Greenville, Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia and Myrtle Beach’s new SkyWheel, and he will post the photos on his Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/travelocity. He will share the photos with the more than 150,000 combined people who follow him on Twitter and Facebook. Photos also will be posted at South Carolina tourism’s Facebook page.
