ELYRIA, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Invacare Corporation (NYSE: IVC) announced today that it has hired Colleen Craven as Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, Craven will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s initiatives to ensure it is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding the design, manufacture and distribution of medical devices. Craven joins Invacare as the Company looks to improve its corporate compliance procedures and documentation practices.

Craven most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Compliance and Business Practices at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a U.S. based specialty health care solutions company. In this role, she oversaw and enhanced Endo’s compliance programs for all aspects of the company. Prior to that, she spent six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she provided consulting services to healthcare companies on the development and implementation of regulatory compliance programs. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Cleveland State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
