AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UnboundID™ Corp. today announced it has promoted James Snyder to the position of Vice President of Engineering. In his new role, Snyder will lead the fast-growing engineering teams overseeing development and quality assurance for the company’s expanding suite of identity management products for today’s mobile and cloud-based application infrastructures.

Since early 2009, James Snyder has served as the Director of Engineering for UnboundID, where his responsibilities ranged from development and quality assurance to technical writing and product support. Before joining UnboundID, Snyder spent over a decade in executive development and engineering roles at leading technology companies, including Hyper9, 21st Century Technologies, Coremetrics and Trilogy. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior member of the engineering staff at Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Labs. James holds a PhD in Computational Design from Carnegie Mellon University as well as a B.S. and two M.S. degrees from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
