DejaOffice for Android Receives Significant Updates

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CompanionLink^® recently pushed significant updates to its mobile productivity Android^™ app, DejaOffice^®. New features include a Palm OS^® style date picker, the addition of widgets, and global search functionality, among others. These new features augment DejaOffice’s existing business-class Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Memos, and Category Management functionality.

The new Palm OS style date picker give users the ability to set event times in far fewer taps than before, allowing for faster and easier data entry. Customers familiar with the tried and true workflow of older Palm^® devices will especially appreciate this improvement to their workflow.

Widgets provide “at-a-glance” information to the Android home screen. DejaOffice has added two DejaToday widgets: a 4×1 “ticker” style widget and a 4×4 overview widget. Both widgets display the day’s calendar events and tasks, as well as any contacts linked to this data, allowing users to easily digest their current engagements.

The addition of Global Search allows users to search their contact, calendars, tasks, and memos by tapping the search soft key on most Android devices. This makes searching through large databases much more convenient.
