Rocket Software Announces Acquisition of Aldon

-- Application Lifecycle Management software company to become Rocket business unit, remain in Bay Area --

NEWTON, Mass.--()--Rocket Software (www.rocketsoftware.com) today announced that it has acquired Emeryville, California-based Aldon (www.aldon.com). Aldon is now branded as Rocket Aldon, and is a business unit of Rocket Software. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

Aldon provides application lifecycle management (ALM) for the business of IT by offering flexible ALM for complex environments, simplified ALM for complex work, and uncomplicated ALM for complete visibility and collaboration. Aldon's customer base includes over 1,300 companies worldwide, including over 70 of the Fortune 100, who use Aldon to manage their global IT business and operations processes, including application development, network operations, and services management.
