WeatherBug Hires Caitlin Remby as East Coast Director for Mobile and Digital Advertising Sales

NEW YORK & GERMANTOWN, Md.--()--Earth Networks, the owner of WeatherBug® products and services and operator of the largest weather observing and lightning network, announced the hiring of Caitlin Remby as East Coast sales director for mobile and digital advertising. In this role, Remby will be managing relationships with major advertisers and sponsors, spearheading new sales efforts, and actively overseeing the award-winning East Coast advertising sales team for the WeatherBug mobile and desktop applications and website.

Remby brings to her new position nearly 15 years of sales management experience with an emphasis on mobile, online and navigation-based advertising for top national and global consumer brands. Prior to joining the company, Remby was the East Coast head of sales at NAVTEQ Media Solutions, which was previously known as Nokia Interactive Advertising, in Boston. Earlier, Remby was the sales account director, southeast territory, for Univision Online in Miami. Prior to that, in Boston, she was a sales account manager at Yahoo!, where she worked with a variety of emerging and established online brands. Remby also held sales management and account executive positions at companies that include Newmediary, FairMarket, Inc., and Ziff Davis Publishing – PC Week. She is a graduate of Boston College.
