linkedFA Secures $3 Million Funding to Drive Global Growth Strategy and Expand Utilization of Social Media for Financial Professionals and the Enterprise

Funds will be used to drive linkedFA’s global growth strategy, which includes site upgrades and enhancements, integration and sharing of tier-one content, partnerships and acquisitions.

linkedFA was established in February 2010 in anticipation of the shift in acceptance towards social media in the financial community. linkedFA is the only social networking website that is designed to adhere to the unique needs of the highly regulated financial community, and includes compliance features which address the regulatory concerns of the SEC, FINRA and FSA. Unlike mainstream networking sites, linkedFA enables financial advisors (FAs) to leverage social media compliantly by aggregating and storing all relative communication within the FA’s networks for more than 6 years.
