Vyomesh Joshi is executive vice president of the Imaging and Printing Group at HP. Since joining HP in 1980 as a research and development engineer, he has held various leadership positions. Today, Joshi oversees HP’s Imaging and Printing Group, a $24 billion annual revenue business that encompasses the consumer, enterprise, small-to-medium business and graphics customer segments.
Hewlett Packard has been a worldwide market leader in printing since introducing its first inkjet and LaserJet printers in 1984. Since its inception, the company has sold more than 400 million inkjet printers and has become the world’s premier printer company.
In the last eight years, under Joshi’s leadership, the Imaging and Printing Group has increased its revenue from $19 billion to $24 billion and doubled its operating profit to more than $4 billion.
