LANGHORNE, Pa.--()--MTI Information Technologies today announced the appointment of Brian Tvenstrup as Senior Vice President, Business Analytics. In his new role, Tvenstrup is responsible for leading the MTI Business Analytics team in its delivery of best-in-class analytics in the biopharmaceutical, preference-based marketing space. MTI is the industry’s leading supplier of one-to-one, preference-based marketing services that take healthcare provider (HCP) marketing to new levels.

According to MTI CEO, Bill Clapper, “Brian will be instrumental in driving MTI’s analytic services and a key asset in supporting MTI’s individualized preference-based marketing services. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of marketing analytics, with strong expertise in predictive modeling, prospect targeting, and optimization techniques. Rather than a focus on academic or theoretical research, his positions have always emphasized bringing the value of analytics to the line-of-business, using their leverage to improve business results and increase profitability and shareholder value.”

Prior to joining MTI, Tvenstrup was head of analytics for First Equity Card Corporation, a commercial lender focused on serving small businesses. There he held responsibility for all marketing and credit analytics, as well as information technology functions including the analytical database. Tvenstrup has also worked for several other prominent lending institutions. These included working for Fair Isaac Corporation, the nation’s premier analytical services firm, as well as serving as a consultant at Oliver Wyman, a leading consulting firm for the financial services industry.

Tvenstrup graduated Princeton University with honors, where he earned his AB Degree in Economics and Public Policy at the Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs. He also completed his graduate work in Applied Statistics at Penn State University.
