2K Sports Announces Major League Baseball® 2K11 Now Available

Game Launch Marks Three-Week Countdown until $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge Begins

NEW YORK--()--2K Sports today announced that Major League Baseball® 2K11 is now available on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Wii™ system, PC-DVD, Nintendo DS™, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, and PSP® system.

Major League Baseball 2K11 features a revamped fielding system; Total Control Pitching, that enables pitchers to paint the corners with pinpoint accuracy; Dynamic Player Ratings, that mirror real-life player performances; improved My Player and MLB Today modes; and brand new player models, which provide authenticity like never before.

Developed by 2K Sports’ Visual Concepts studio, 2K Sports will once again offer the $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge* and award $1,000,000 to the first eligible person to pitch a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K11, the latest iteration in the popular Major League Baseball 2K series.

“This competition is real. And it is life changing,” said Wade McGilberry, who became an overnight celebrity after winning last year’s Perfect Game Challenge.

This year’s race to perfection will commence on Major League Baseball’s Opening Day, April 1, 2011, giving gamers just under a month to practice with the game before embarking on a quest that only 20 pitchers in baseball history have accomplished. For more information, please visit www.2ksports.com/perfectgame. Please see official rules that follow below.

“Only MLB 2K11 can put this type of money on the line,” said Phillies pitcher and cover athlete Roy Halladay. “With the game’s deep and realistic pitching mechanics, whoever wins the $1,000,000 will have earned it. They might even get a call from the Phillies’ scouts.”

Major League Baseball 2K11 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and is now available in North America on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 system, Wii™ system, PC-DVD, Nintendo DS™, PlayStation 2 system, and PSP system.

2K Sports is a division of 2K, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO).
