Each property is over 20 units, with some properties listed as contributing buildings within their HPOZ. Architect Cynthia Phakos adds: “These buildings make up the fabric of what we know as the City of Los Angeles, and we are excited that they are renovated in an environmentally sustainable way. ABOUT KOFFKA/PHAKOS DESIGN
Koffka/Phakos Design (KPD) was established in 2002 by Adrian Koffka and Cynthia Phakos after they had worked for several years in prominent Los Angeles architecture firms. KPD has worked on over 200 projects throughout the Los Angeles region, ranging from single-family to multi-tenant homes, and renovations of institutional and commercial spaces.
