Associated Radiologists, Inc. Extends Contract with Medical Billing Leader Zotec Partners

With renewal, group gains access to Decision Support reporting module, so it can drill down into its important business information

INDIANAPOLIS--()--Zotec Partners, an industry leader in medical billing, practice management, and Radiology Information Systems (RIS) software and services, announces today that Associated Radiologists, Inc., out of Charleston, W.Va., has signed a long-term contract extension to continue licensing the company’s billing software.

Established in 1969, Associated Radiologists, Inc. consists of 17 board certified radiologists, providing on-site and teleradiology services for Charleston area hospitals, including all Charleston Area Medical Center facilities, Braxton County Memorial Hospital, HealthPlus Family Medicine Centers, and Highland Hospital.

“With Zotec Partners’ software, we have been able to get a handle on every single charge to make sure it gets paid in full, which we could not do with our last billing system,” said Shelby King, CPA, business manager for Associated Radiologists, Inc. “The Electronic Billing Center software provides a logical workflow that lets us see the whole picture and capture every charge.”

Zotec Partners is a solutions-based firm serving the hospital-based specialty market. The company offers a comprehensive suite of medical billing and practice management tools and services designed to make operations more efficient and productive in medical offices. Its flagship product, the Electronic Billing Center (EBC) practice management and billing software suite serves 5,500 physicians in 45 states.

“We are very excited to gain access to Zotec Partners’ Decision Support reporting tool, which gives us the ability to drill down into our business information, and is conveniently available from any location via the Internet,” said King.

EBC Decision Support provides specific business intelligence to Associated Radiologists, Inc.’s database, allowing the group to effectively data mine, drill down, chart, and analyze its data in a meaningful way. Decision Support includes analysis cubes, representing best practices for viewing and digesting information. In addition, this application has a wizard capability, allowing individual users to create and store their own cubes, analyses, and reports. Decision Support provides practices with access to information that enables them to proactively manage their businesses, rather than reacting to outdated reporting materials.

“Our technology provides practices with an integrated set of software tools to reduce the costs of billing and maximize the potential for revenue,” said Scott Law, president and CEO of Zotec Partners. “Whether a group wants to turn billing over to Zotec Partners’ expert team or keep it in-house, we have a solution that will fit their needs.”

Zotec Partners is headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind., and has offices in Dallas and Tyler, Texas, Las Vegas, Nev., Irvine and San Diego, Calif., Orlando, Fla., Chicago, Ill., Norman, Oklahoma City and Enid, Okla., and Pueblo, Colorado.
