University of Miami and NYU Partner to Offer Philanthropy Conference on February 25

Development Professionals Facing Tough Economy Can Learn from Some of the Most Famous Fundraisers in the Business at Miami Conference

CORAL GABLES, Fla.--()--The University of Miami and New York University announce a unique partnership to bring experts from NYU's nationally-renown philanthropy program to South Florida for a one day conference for development professionals.

What: Joint one-day philanthropy conference from UM and NYU

When: Friday, February 25. 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Where: University of Miami's Newman Alumni Center, 6200 San Amaro Drive, Coral Gables, FL 33146

Entitled, The Art Of The Ask: A Critical Component In Fundraising (http://www.miami.edu/philanthropy), the conference features faculty and authors from NYU's Heyman Center, the foremost experts in the field. Providing a special welcome message to the attendees will be UM President Donna E. Shalala, who has led the university's own successful advancement efforts, including the record-breaking Momentum campaign, which raised $1.4 billion.
