Launching today on Made Man is "For the Win", a weekly infotainment series teaching men how to win at life--whether that's how to be a master of the grill or successfully negotiate a raise.

LOS ANGELES--()--Break Media, the leading digital video publisher, today announced its spring slate of original video content with five new webseries. The new slate revealed today will increase the premium content offerings on Break Media’s flagship site Break.com, the number-one comedy site on the web according to comScore, and across the Break Media family of sites.

Break Media’s Creative Lab, the company’s in-house digital production studio, begins rolling out the new slate today with “For the Win”, on Made Man, the #3 men’s lifestyle site (comScore). “For the Win” is a weekly infotainment series teaching men how to win at life—whether that's how to be a master of the grill or successfully negotiate a raise. The five new shows will launch in the coming months across Break’s nine wholly-owned properties, which represent multiple verticals ranging from sports to gaming. In addition to “For the Win”, the four webseries premiering this spring are:

  • “Awesome America” on Break: The Break editors travel the country in search of the weird, the wonderful, and the awesome.
  • “Thinking Out Loud” on Screen Junkies: A new take on the traditional press junket, in which our comedian correspondents voice their inner monologue as they interview big-name celebrities.
  • “MMAshed Potato” on Cage Potato: Weekly re-caps of the most exciting and controversial moments in MMA sports.
  • “FAQ U" on Game Front: A gamer’s one-stop destination for the best tips, tricks, cheats and walk-throughs for the week’s most popular games.

The Break Media Creative Lab is on track to produce more than 1,000 new pieces of video content this year, which is five times the output in 2010. The production team of skilled producers, writers, and directors has been growing steadily since Break’s acquisition of HBOlab in 2009. The team has produced popular original video content—most recently collaborating with Brooklyn Decker on the viral hit “Brooklyn Decker: Just One of the Guys” to promote the movie “Just Go With It”—as well as award-winning branded video content for leading brands.

“Break is committed to creating entertaining content that we know will resonate with our audience,” said Jonathan Small, SVP Editorial and Programming for Break. “We are always pushing the envelope when it comes to video production, and we’re excited to be premiering more original webseries today across more Break properties.”

The new video content debuting today will be made available on Made Man and a custom Made Man channel on YouTube, in addition to being distributed across the Break Media Network--a video ad network that reaches more than 125 million users monthly. The new content can also be accessed on Break’s multiple applications on emerging platform devices including iPhone, Android, and internet-connected consumer electronic devices.
