LOS ALTOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Talend, a global open source software leader, today announced the release of Talend Integration Factory, a production-ready distribution of the popular open source project Apache Camel, offering message mediation and routing capabilities to developers. This announcement follows the successful December 2010 introduction of Talend Service Factory, a repackaged distribution of Apache CXF, optimized for the enterprise. With the launch of a second major product initiative, Talend has now successfully integrated Sopera, which it acquired last November, into the organization and accelerated development and production of application integration solutions.

- Lightweight, component-based architecture which implements Enterprise Integration Patterns and supports a broad set of protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, XMPP, RSS and more), data formats (EDI, JSON, CSV, HL7) and languages (Javascript, Python, Scala).
