LAFAYETTE, La.--()--Premier transportation and logistics services provider United Vision Logistics announces the promotion of Howard Hoffmann to Chief Executive Officer. Since Jan. 1, 2011 Hoffmann has been serving as the company’s interim Chief Executive Officer. Prior to 2011, he served as the company’s Chief Integration Officer, overseeing the integration and rebranding of four legacy companies into one entity, United Vision Logistics.

He brings more than thirty years of financial, operational and general management experience in a wide range of industries including healthcare, business services, telecommunications and transportations. Hoffmann was the CEO of MedQuist, Inc., the largest medical transcription outsource company in the world. He also served as the interim CEO of Global Knowledge Network, Inc., one of the largest independent technology training organizations.
United Vision Logistics was created out of Gulf Coast based transportation companies Ace Transportation, Dynasty Transportation, Texas Hot Shot Company and Venture Transport.
