SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zynga Inc. today announced that Words With Friends, the most popular multiplayer word game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, with over 10 million users, will soon be available on Android™ phones and tablets. Words With Friends for Android will be available on Android Market™ and will enable a large number of players to enjoy the game any time or place.

Words With Friends will be cross-platform giving players on Android and iOS devices the ability to play against more friends, family and random opponents. The features will be the same on both platforms, including the ability to play up to 20 simultaneous games at a time, in-game chat and push notifications.
The Android version of the game will launch in Android Market as a free download later this month. In the coming months, Zynga will also offer an ad-free premium version.
