ICTS Patient Recruitment Announces Board Changes

Tom Sturgis, current President, assumes additional duties of CEO upon the resignation of Sheila H. Ogle

RALEIGH, N.C.--()--ICTS, the patient recruitment and clinical trial marketing services company, announced that Sheila H. Ogle, Chief Executive Officer of ICTS, has resigned from the company after 8 years of service. Ogle made the announcement at the ICTS Board of Directors meeting in December.

At the meeting, Ogle told the board, “It has been a privilege working with you to implement marketing and outreach programs that help find patients who may help advance the discovery of important pharmaceutical products.” ICTS goes beyond the “typical” recruitment model by developing effective marketing and communications plans throughout the entire clinical trials process. They are experts in areas such as Informed Consent Messaging Standardization and GCP Presentation Standardization. “I will probably never retire,” added Ogle. “ICTS is an established company within the clinical trials community so it is time for me to direct my time and energy to other business and community activities.”

The Board expressed gratitude for her contributions since the inception of the company and named Tom Sturgis, ICTS President, as its next CEO. Sturgis said, “We really appreciate the job Sheila has done for us from the beginning and I look forward to following in her footsteps as we take ICTS to the next level.”
