eJamming Inc Awarded Key Patent for its Unique Multiplayer Music Collaboration Technology

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office recently awarded eJamming Inc, the pioneer in live multiplayer audio collaboration technologies, a significant addition to its intellectual property portfolio.

Patent US 7,853,342, entitled “Method and Apparatus for Remote Real Time Collaborative Acoustic Performance and Recording Thereof,” recognizes and protects eJamming’s method of sending and receiving multiple simultaneous audio streams among musicians and singers who are connected via broadband to play together from geographically dispersed locations. A software-as-a-service, eJamming AUDiiO 3.0 currently allows up to four musicians and singers to play together as if they are in the same room, each of them hearing the other players’ CD-quality audio.
