Lee has served as an angel investor and advisor to many tech startups. Most notably, Lee was the founding director of the Internet Technology Division for the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan. At ITRI, he initiated and managed Internet pioneering R&D and application, promotion programs that included Taiwan e-Commerce Pilot, Internet World Exposition and Java Alliance. Lee was also a key ambassador and advisory board member to DivX, Inc., one of the world’s leading developers of video compression, digital rights management and media language technologies.

Lee also previously served as vice chairman of ChinaLabs (a leading Think Tank and Incubator in China). Currently, Lee is the Chief eXploratory Officer for Smart Clothing at TexRay Group as well as Principal Investigator for Smart Clothing SIG in Taiwan.
