Quorum Enhances Pipeline Transaction Management Software to Reflect NAESB 1.9 Standards

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quorum Business Solutions, Inc. (Quorum), a leading provider of business and information technology solutions for the oil, gas, and renewable energy industry, announces that Quorum Pipeline Transaction Management (QPTM) is now updated to deal with the new standards found in NAESB 1.9.

Based on the revisions made in the NAESB 1.9 standards, Quorum’s natural gas pipeline transaction software has been enhanced to include the ability to support index-based capacity release and flexible delivery and receipt points. As part of this, QPTM now allows Clients the ability to give new nomination paths the same priority as previously scheduled paths, providing the paths are flowing through the same constraint point.

The new standards within NAESB 1.9 include revisions to other facets, such as Trading Partner Agreements – development of a complementary Trading Partner Worksheet, Confirmation Response Quick Responses, and the Minimum Technical Characteristics – with changes to the Informational Postings and Customer Activities web sites attributes.

The enhancements to Quorum’s pipeline transaction management software were available in advance of the November 1, 2010 deadline and the updated version is already in use by the Client base.
