SecureInfo and Diligent Consulting Team Awarded Information Assurance Contract by Air Force Air Education and Training Command (AETC)

5-Year Single-Award Contract Valued at $24 Million

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SecureInfo® Corporation, a market-proven provider of Information Assurance solutions, today announced that the company, under the prime contractor, Diligent Consulting, has been awarded a re-competed AETC contract for Information Assurance (IA) services. SecureInfo provided IA services under a previous prime contract with AETC. As part of AETC’s commitment to veterans, the re-competed contract was to be awarded to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB). SecureInfo teamed with Diligent Consulting, a certified SDVOB information technology services firm, to pursue this work. Diligent works extensively with the United States Air Force and has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality mission critical services. Under the new $24 million, 5-year, single award contract, SecureInfo will serve as the exclusive subcontractor to Diligent Consulting. Together Diligent and SecureInfo will support the Air Force’s implementation of DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), as well as provide other Information Assurance services and council to AETC.

“U.S. Air Force Information Assurance Organization of the Year”

“Securing our nation’s information assets to enable our customers to meet mission objectives is central to everything we do,” said Christopher Fountain, CEO of SecureInfo Corporation. “We are delighted to be working with Diligent Consulting, a company that shares our commitment to providing outstanding service. And, we are honored to have the opportunity to continue supporting AETC’s mission of delivering unrivaled Air, Space and Cyberspace education and training to support America’s Airmen.”

“We are extremely honored to have been chosen by AETC and pleased to have SecureInfo as our exclusive sub-contractor,” said David Cerminaro, Founder and CEO of Diligent Consulting, Inc. “We pride ourselves on providing strong customer service and earning our clients trust and respect every day. We know SecureInfo shares those same values.” SecureInfo teamed with Diligent Consulting because of the company’s excellent reputation in the Air Force and to support the government’s interest in awarding prime contracts to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business.

DIACAP details the standard processes for the identification, implementation, validation, certification and accreditation of information for all DoD information systems. Diligent and SecureInfo will also support Security, Interoperability, Sustainability, Supportability and Usability (SISSU) for all information systems, enclaves, networks and circuits throughout the command; provide Information Support Plan (ISP) support; execute and update a Security Implementation Plans (SIP); and conduct annual security reviews.

Air Education and Training Command (AETC) provides basic military training, initial and advanced technical training, flying training, and professional military and degree-granting professional education. AETC's role makes it the first command to touch the life of almost every Air Force member.
