Innovative Healthcare Funds Family of Inter-Related Healthcare Businesses

BELLEVUE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Innovative Healthcare, Inc., a growing family of companies focused on the discovery and delivery of innovations in healthcare treatments, today announced that it has completed a multi-million dollar investment round. The funds are being used to launch three organizations this year: treatment centers branded as Restorix Health that will be located in underserved markets; the Restorix Research Institute, which will focus on clinical research; and a not-for-profit called the Restorix Foundation. Working in concert with the Restorix Research Institute, Restorix Health will provide integrated services including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for patients suffering from chronic wounds, injuries and diseases, while the Institute conducts specialized clinical research in HBOT to advance its use for treating disease conditions such as traumatic brain injury, concussive sports injuries, and strokes. The Restorix Foundation will work to advance hyperbaric medical practices by assisting with research, education and consumer engagement through grants, donations and partnerships.

Restorix Health will use a centers-of-excellence approach to ensure best practices based on advanced research for wound care, hyperbaric medicine and infusion therapies. Each center of excellence will be tightly aligned with the Restorix Research Institute which will pursue specialized peer-reviewed clinical research to evaluate uses of hyperbaric medicine for many disease conditions. The first Restorix Health Center of Excellence will open December 13 in Issaquah, WA, followed by additional locations in Washington and California.
